Signpost Group of Firms are started by Lion Dr Er J Shivakumaar, with publishing COIMBATORE INDUSTRIAL DIRECTORY, in the year 1981. It was published at a time, when the concept of publication of local / citywise directories were not known. Based on the success of this maiden edition, printed directories on Madurai, Salem, Madras and then Tamil Nadu were published from 1982.

We have grown with Technology, with time. We are the first to release our Directories in Floppy Diskettes; Compact Diskettes, Web Sites, EBooks, Mobile Apps etc, as and when the relevant technologies were introduced to the public. We are Pioneers in our field and Leaders still now. We are encouraged in our efforts by all the User Industries, General Public and the Local Associations like CODISSIA, CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, COSIEMA, LIONS CLUBS, Vasavi Clubs etc. We are assisted by well educated and experienced Staff who are Graduates and Post Graduates.

With the Technical know how from UK Firm “ TECH CONSULTING PARTNERS, Manchester, UK”, we started publishing Digital Directories, for reading printed books in the Smart Phones and eReaders, from 2015. It is True that FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE. Introduction of Mobile Services by JIO in 2017, enabled every one to access Internet at very low cost (at Rs 4 per Gb instead of earlier Rs 256 per Gb). So the usage of Smart Phones sky rocketed. And hence our user base of Digital Editions increased enormously. We assisted 73 Lions Districts in India, to Digitize their current year Lions Directories and read in Smart Phones of Lakhs of Lion Members all over India.
